I am the mother of four beautiful children from six to twenty-two, yes that is a big gap and a big story. I taught seventh grade social studies and loved it, for almost 10 years. I enjoy history and restoring historical properties. Natural health and wellness is a passion and the good Lord who gives us what we need to thrive. I have more hobbies than any human should have and prioritize people over things. I am blessed beyond measure.
I live and work in my hometown of Smyrna Delaware. I love people and appreciate how each interaction enriches life.
I began my education in design in 2000, thinking that I wanted to be an interior designer. After taking a photography course along my path I found a new passion. I duel majored and received my degree in visual communication.
My next, okay probably first, passion is history. It wasn't until I was in my early 20's, and got crazy into family research that I found this passion. As I was researching various nations of my origin and their history I realized that had to know the history of the world to understand the history of where I came from. And so a student I became. My second degree is in history.
And then... I realized that I had such a passion for art and history that I wanted to share it with the world. So I went for my masters in secondary education.
Our studio is located in the Historic Cobalt Manor located in downtown Smyrna Delaware. Many services are on location, however our studio is home to our newborn and boudoir sessions. We offer a wide array of services for our clients along with affordable prices and packages. With over two decades of experience, and an undergraduate degree in photography, Lindsay Powell Photography offers a unique photographic prospective.
